I liked the first 1/4 of the book but the pity party these two have going on was grading on my nerves. She kept saying if she was pregnant she can take care of it herself but the old ladies are the ones taking care of her two kids now while she works which she doesn't have to with all her money. Those 2 kids are traumatized and need her at home but she is selfish and puts those kids onto others to watch especially phoebe who just had a baby. And Smokey is like a woes me attitude, it got annoying fast. He says he will go out and find all the mens that want to kill jas but his brothers and Jas found everyone not him. He didn't even go look. My biggest issue was how people her calling jas a "fat ass". I thought she was maybe 60 lbs or 100 lbs overweight but now im thinking way over 200. Please describe better in the next book so my mind is already picturing the people in my mind then find out I have to re picture. But I'm seeing one thing then thinking 1/2 way through the book it might be another. If explained more in the beginning I would be find with this. I would be picturing her better and think girl don't take that crap and name calling, stick up for self. I wanted this to be more. What I got is a clumsy girl who was kind of flat personality wise and Smokey whose back story doesn't come out until well in the book so they spent the entire rest of the time darting around each other not really communicating about stuff with the addition of a couple kids. I felt like I was slogging through this book just to get to the next one.
